National Assisted Living Week – It’s Time to Celebrate the Caregivers

September 16, 2015 | Mike Pumphrey

National Assisted Living WeekThis year’s National Assisted Living Week is all about nourishing your residents – enriching their lives through mind, body, and spirit. But while you focus on activities with residents this week, we can’t forget to thank you, the people who make it all happen!

In senior living, you’re not just an employee in the community … you become friends (and even family) to residents. It’s no secret that seniors who have lost family members and childhood friends connect with their caregivers. This week and all year long, you help them stay active through physical fitness, music and art, and community outreach. They truly value these relationships, and their lives are better because of you!

On behalf of the team at OnShift, I’d like to thank you and your teams for all that you do each and every day to support and care for residents. It has not gone unnoticed, and I’m sure residents are thankful for your compassion and positive attitudes. Enjoy this week to celebrate your efforts!
